How Is Miosis Diagnosed?

You may be able to manage this by protecting your eyes while outside by wearing sunglasses.

Miosis may resolve if the iris, nerves, or brain are not permanently damaged.

For nonprescription or recreational drugs, you may be assessed for substance use disorder.

You may choose to enroll in a substance use treatment program.

Be sure to do so right away to protect your sight.

Determining the cause and treating it can help preserve vision and health.
