Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa)is a tree native to Southeast Asia.
Kratom tree leaves contain two chemical compounds that are known to have psychoactive effects:mitragynineand 7-hydroxymitragynine.

The leaves can also be smoked or made into a powder, extract, or capsule.
