Diagnosis

If an antibody test is positive, this may indicate that your immune system is attacking your thyroid gland.

In this case, the symptoms youve been experiencing might be due to the presence of autoimmune thyroid disease.

This is at least until the condition resolves or a state of hypothyroidism develops.
