A new systematic review shows consuming dairy appears to have neutral to beneficial effects on inflammatory markers.

None of these studies suggest that either consuming dairy food or proteins from milk increase inflammation like previously believed.

What is Chronic Inflammation?

Chronic inflammation can be difficult to recognize.

Both low- and full-fat dairy products, as well as fermented dairy foods, displayed anti-inflammatory activity.

According to Cifelli, there is no reason to avoid dairy for inflammation concerns.

And if lactose is a problem for you, you’ve got the option to choose lactose-free products.

The benefits of consuming dairy foods and proteins from milk extend beyond the inflammatory factor.

And by all means, enjoy that glass of milk if you wish!
