If not treated as a medical emergency, anaphylaxis can lead toshock, coma, and even death.

Even so, the risk of this occurring is relatively small.

In some cases, death from anaphylaxis has been known to occur within 15 minutes.

How Long Do Side Effects Last?

Some cases have been reported to last as long as 11 months.

Most cases are mild, developing within 14 hours of the injection and resolving within one to four days.

Severe side effects are rare.
