Why Do Babies Get Drool Rash?

Avoid using textured or rough fabrics or paper towels, since these could make the irritation worse.

After you finish, ensure the face and chest area are dry.

Using a bib during meal times can also help protect the chest area from food particles and drool.

A bath twice or three times a week is sufficient.

Extensive skin care regimes are not necessary or recommended for babies.

Massaging your baby’s gums with a clean finger can also provide relief.

If your baby seems to be in a lot of pain, ask their healthcare provider about pain medication.
