Common Causes

Jointsare formed where the ends of bones meet together.

They are surrounded by a joint capsule filled withsynovialfluid.

This is because the cartilage in your joints wears down, making them more likely to pop when moved.

When they are because of an underlying problem, treatment will vary depending on the specifics of the condition.

If your joints crack once or twice after a period of immobility, it is generally normal and harmless.
