Egg
Some medications use egg lecithin as an excipient containing some egg protein.
However, allergic reactions to egg lecithin are rare in people with egg allergies.

Those who have had only mild reactions previously are considered lower-risk.
Propofol is an anesthetic used during surgery and is well known to cause allergic reactions.
There are case reports of people who are allergic to fish having possible reactions to fish oil.
Those with a fish allergy should consult their doctor or allergist before consuming fish oil supplements.
