The pigment changes are rarely permanent.
The most common pigment change ishyperpigmentation, which is darkening of the skin.
Usually, onceeczemaresolves, the hyperpigmentation will fade over time.
The other possible pigment change with eczema ishypopigmentation, which is lightening of the skin.
Again, for most people, hypopigmentation from eczema resolves after the eczema clears.
