Bloating and Gas
Bloating, also known asabdominal distension, is considered a common side effect of Ibsrela.
You should also avoid alcohol, which can worsen the dizziness.
Call your healthcare provider if you experience dizziness that worsens or doesn’t get better.
Less Common Mild Side Effects

Rectal bleeding may be a potential symptom of IBD and can occur with diarrhea.

Allergic Reactions
With any drug, including Ibsrela, an allergic reaction can occur.
Before taking Ibsrela, tell your healthcare provider if you have any drug allergies.
In animal studies of young rats, Ibsrela caused death, which was thought to be due to dehydration.
Be sure to store your medication out of the reach and out of the sight of children.

Ibsrela is not safe for everyone.
